Really good place to have a nice meal. The ambience is good and so much better than the other Indian restaurants that offer buffet for lunch. This was the first Indian restaurant we had a buffet from and it didn't disappoint. The tandoori chicken was my favorite. It was so good...one of the best I've had for sure. The chicken was moist and succulent and we'll marinated. Was not at all americanised and so thankful for that. It's difficult to find a good tandoori chicken because most places put color and little spices for marination. The non veg meat dishes are very limited and I found that is just one of the cons. There was just 3 non veg dishes-chicken tandoori, prawn curry and beef curry. The Staff were so courteous and nice. One of them even offered me a spicy green chutney to have with the tandoori.totally recommend this place.
The seasoning is the greatest feature of Indian food. So the appetizer of every grill was good except the salmon. Maybe it’s Canadian thing, I would suggest to spare the fish. It is just not the right way. The lamb rack was delicious, so was the dessert. I could definitely come back for the lamb, tho it’s super spicy
Super impressed with the level of service. Never I have I ever had that well taken care of. Other places have lots to learn. Good job keep it up.
good indian food experience, had korma lamb and pulao saffron rice. quick and courteous service.
Excellent service. A good ambiance. For some reason I wasn’t feeling the food that night. The servings presentation was nice. I will go there again. Good times!
Really satisfied. You can literally smell the sauce from these photos. India is the country of spices for a good reason... we ordered the butter chicken and lamb curry. Both delicious. The bread is so good my friend and I just inhaled it without dipping it in meat sauce... It’s a bit pricey but I guess it’s fair given the quality, quantity, and interior design. Would recommend on a pay day or breakup day.
Oh wow! If you are craving for really really good Indian food in Montreal, this is the place to be! We went there on the Sunday lunch buffet and trust me when I say this none of us wanted to get up after eating so much. The quality of food was amazing and portion sizes reminds you of back home!
Fabulous resto. Was searching for a new spot to try and found this. Beautiful ambience, decor and lovely, elaborate tableware/serving dishes. Excellent, personalized service - friendly and helpful.Food was delicious, fresh, flavourful and high quality. Perfect for a nice dinner out. We'll be back.
Had an amazing experience! Food here is delicious. They have a wide variety of Indian cuisine.
Ambience was good. It's a fine dining restaurant which only has good ambience but not good food. I ordered tandoori platter which was undercooked with absolutely no spices , not even salt. Potion size is way too small seems like they are serving kids menu. Only thing which was good was the mint and tamarind chutney.
The ambiance is awesome. The food is good 4/5. Bit pricy compare to other restaurants. Staff was amazing. Love the chat papdi from this place. The place is superb. Must try.
I am so happy Le Taj exists in Montreal. It is a high quality dining experience all around. There buffet is a no brainier if you like Indian food.
I come to this superb restaurant from time to time since I love the good air that is characterizes this place. The personel is very loving and qualified. The service is deeply rapid. Most important, the food you eat is good. I have been there often and I was always delighted. The expense is reasobable. I recommend this place to to everybody.
I was told that Le Taj was the high end place for Indian food.Went for a lunch buffet.Affordable, definitely not refined.Buffet was a bit cold but taste was good.
One CLEAN Indian restaurant in the middle of busy downtown... First time seeing Salmon in the buffet... Nice food and excellent service and everyone was friendly and clean the table very quickly, check on the buffet to refill... Nice restaurant!!!!
Loved this place! I highly recommend it if you are looking for a place for GOOD QUALITY Indian Food. We ordered for two:Chicken tikka masalaButter chickenGarlic naamPlain riceEverything was delicious.
Love this place. Food is delicious, a bit expensive but I always choose to go here for special occasions. Butter chicken is the best I have ever had. Beautiful restaurant. Last year I went for my birthday and before my sister even had to ask they brought me various deserts with a candle and sang me happy birthday. The waiter was extremely nice. Always a great experience here!
A good number of options if you want to experience the real taste of India. All the dishes I tried were really tasty. The ambiance is also nice. But the price is a bit higher than other Indian restaurants in Montreal. The quality is good but quantity not so good.
Went to the lunch buffet, very low heating candles so the food was cold. Try to eat cold tandoori chicken.. Lacked variety of curry. Had much better for cheaper. I have to give credit to the staff as they were welcoming. But I went there because I was hungry.
